Almi of Naxos is located in the Grotta area of Naxos Town (Hora), very close to the port and the temple of Apollo (Portara), overlooking the old town of Naxos and next to the sea. Within a few minute walk you will find numerous restaurants, cafes, shops, plus all the amenities of the town.

Naxos Town (or Hora) on the west coast is the island’s port and capital and it is the arrival point for all but air visitors. It is a fine Cycladic town, with twisting narrow streets and alleys originally intended to confuse invading marauders. The Old Town, up on the hill, is divided into two neighbourhoods: Bourgos where the Greeks lived, and Castle (Kastro) above, residence of the Venetian-Catholic nobility. Most of the Castle’s current residents claim descent from the Venetians, and many of their grandparents’ tombstones in the 13th-century Catholic Cathedral boast grand titles.
